Thanks Dinotown!

Thanks to Dinotown we were able to end the 2007/2008 Playgroup year with a bang! Dinotown generously provided a free day pass for the families who attend the Chilliwack Playgroup and we were able to have a great year end party. It was a fun way to end the year and the children really enjoyed their time at Dintown.

Clearbrook Lions Club gives huge donation

In December, the season for giving, we were honored and thankful for a very generous donation from the Clearbrook Lions Club. Over $19,000 was donated to our centre to assist in the renovation of the Reception Area and Waiting Areas and fulfill wish list items for resources and equipment to enhance the programs and services we provide.

A heartfelt thank you for your generosity and on-going support of our centre and our mission of “Helping Kids Shine”.

How We Were Helped
We are grateful for the help we received with the renovations to our Abbotsford Office in both the reception and waiting rooms. Our families and our staff love the new look!

Clearbrook Decorating Centre – donated 20 gallons of Benjamin Moore Aura paint.

The painting was completed by Mike Webster of Webster’s Fine Carpentry.

Rick Rayner of Fast-Track Floors Ltd. and Nick Bruzzese – supplied and installed 2,200 square feet of vinyl plank flooring.

We also received a $1,000 store credit from Blackwood Building Supplies.

Thank-you everyone for your generous support!

It was a beautiful sunny day and many hungry supporters enjoyed some delicious hot dogs and cold drinks by donation. As well, two well stocked gift baskets were raffled off. A total of $2,000 was raised to help support our special children.

We would like to extend a great big thank you to the staff and management of Canadian Western Bank for all of their efforts!
